Why snorkel? Snorkelling is a joyful sport. There is a childish excitement in finding new fish, exploring a coral reef, or just enjoying the sheer delight of swimming in an open sea.

Scuba diving is fun, but it requires tanks, equipment, preparation and a support team. Snorkelling is spontaneous, and all you need is a snorkel and mask. There are millions of snorkellers around the world - but most of the websites are for scuba.

We're not snorkel experts, or trainers, or professionals. We just love snorkelling. We made this site because we're interested in finding good places to snorkel: the best coves, the clearest seas, the biggest variety of fish.
